Ok I took it out for the first time and got my 10 hours out of the way so I can go have some fun. I find it hard to shift between gears, especially if I am on any type of an incline. Dealer tells me this is typical and it will work itself out, true or not true guys?

normal

the Maverick does not have a parking brake, it uses the transmission to lock the wheels. You should buy a parking brake kit from UTV Inc if you are parking on hills often.

I am having this problem everytime I have to stop on an incline and switch gears. Im glad to hear it is normal but man it is a real pain in the ass. 2 weeks ago I backed up on top of a 8ft snowbank and got stuck at a severe incline. I could not shift or rock it to get it in gear. Needless to say spent 1.5hrs getting my jeep into position to winch it off of snowbank.
