So you feel the factory clevis assembly is sufficient and is not an area of concern?

Usually breaks out towards the spindle. Clevis connects to the steering rack end.

Just strange they offer it for the commander and not the maverick.

The factory clevis is small. The problem with a aftermarket clevis is keeping the pivot point in the same location, it's next to impossible which can create bump steer.

We have hundreds of clevises laying around the shop and if we thought the Maverick needed them we would include them. We dont see a point in including them, all it will do is increase the price. The Maverick clevis is much stronger then the Commander and has a lot less bump steer.

Just got my Tie Rods and installed them. The install went without any problems. These are definately stronger than the factory Tie Rods. Only required the use of standard hand tools. TurnKey thanks for great parts!!!

super easy just unbolt the old one, take the bolt out of the spindle with a socket and wrench , then put wrench on the far inner side on the steering rack clevis bolt then a wrench on the tie rod and twist it off, then install new one either way either side , then align it straight

I have a silly question. How can these aluminum tie rods be stronger than the stock steel ones?
