I have/had the same cage. I recut/ground out the intrusion bars to spread them further apart so the lower cross bar could move up so I could get the cover off. What is your clearance from helmet to cage? I have PRP seats and the higher seats only gives me 2 fingers of clearance. One reason why I stated "had".

Good looking car and be safe
Plenty of room, probably 4-5 inches clearance.
Factory seats.
Cutting the cover and installing in two pieces was simple and I like the bar being as low as possible.

Nice car. What’s your ride height? Car looks kinda low for being on 35s
It was at 15 1/2. I set it up to 17 1/2.

Much better. Probably still a little low with 35s. Stock springs sag with use so check again after some miles.

Leaving today for Moab.
I plan on checking between every ride for the first few days.
I have a note book to chart the changes. We have a house rented with a nice flat floor to use.

We left last night.
Had to take the southern route because the eye doctor did not want me to subject my eye to the 12,000 pass through Colorado so our trip got and extra 300 miles tacked on.
I an still unable to use my left eye so thankfully my son is driving my truck and pulling my two cars and his brother is pulling his own car while the wife and I follow along in the Jeep.

First time I ever bowed out and let someone else lead. Nice to have my sons and their wives (and one with my first grandchild incubating) along with us.

Very strange feeling for me to be in this position.

For sure. Miles and miles of nothing but miles and miles.
The only caveat is I’m not illegal in Texas……
