What’s the motor in their Spyder 3 wheeler?
The 1330 AceWhat’s the motor in their Spyder 3 wheeler?
All their big engines are 3 Cylinders including the 1330/1630 based on my understanding. I wonder how they would make the 1630cc engine work out of the Sea-Doo if they decided to go that route as I assume it probably would have an issue with keeping the thing cool in a SxS as it is designed to be cooled by lake water. So maybe an all new engine? What’s the motor in their Spyder 3 wheeler?
All new engine could be risky. New engines might have unforeseen problems, but the Pro R hasn’t really had any. Whatever it will be, BRP has probably been testing it non-stop, probably under our noses. If they slapped it in an X3 frame, not many would even notice. All their big engines are 3 Cylinders including the 1330/1630 based on my understanding. that's because it's basically a boat and has no radiator. Wouldn't be too hard to hook it up to a radiatorAll their big engines are 3 Cylinders including the 1330/1630 based on my understanding. The current X3 motor is out of sea doo spark 900. The cooling systems in the Sea Doo are closed. All their big engines are 3 Cylinders including the 1330/1630 based on my understanding. I doubt BRP will use a brand new engine. The 1600cc Sea Doo motor would be perfect. With a supercharger they make 250hp model and 300hp model. All new engine could be risky. Maybe, maybe not. IDK, nobody does. But if they could one up Polaris with a bigger 4 cylinder, they might.I doubt BRP will use a brand new engine. The 1600cc Sea Doo motor would be perfect. With a supercharger they make 250hp model and 300hp model.
Everything you just said is what everybody has been talking about? Yes, definitely.if they really want to one up polaris, they would come out with a bad arse design to overtake polaris, and then make it way cheaper than the Pro.. but that latter wont happen
I wasn’t told anything specific, I was just on the phone ordering parts and started asking what they might know and that’s all I was told. He said he knew a couple other little details but not a whole lot, and he wasn’t allowed to say much else.
I know, sounds fishy lol but I guess canam is really trying to drop a bomb on this one.
I was confused in regards to if there’d be a 24’ X3 too, or just the new model they’re releasing but I didn’t want to press too much
i know but my post sums up the previous 8 pages for the newbies lolEverything you just said is what everybody has been talking about? Yes, definitely.
Didn't they just come out with a brand new engine for the Outlander?I doubt BRP will use a brand new engine. The 1600cc Sea Doo motor would be perfect. With a supercharger they make 250hp model and 300hp model.
the ace motor.. but i cant find where it says how much HP/CC it isDidn't they just come out with a brand new engine for the Outlander?
It’s an all new single cylinder 650cc engine in both the 700 and 500 Outlander. The 700 outlander is 50hp and 500 outlander is 40hp. The only difference between the 2 is tuning and cam profiles.the ace motor.. but i cant find where it says how much HP/CC it is
That’s right they are all closed loop! So no issues changing the plumbing a bit and using that 300HP motor, hell it slings 8000 RPM too!I doubt BRP will use a brand new engine. The 1600cc Sea Doo motor would be perfect. With a supercharger they make 250hp model and 300hp model.
The 300 HP motor might only make 170 if you were riding in a 120*F lake, to match intake temps from an air-air intercooler on a hot day. Easy to make power with unlimited cold water cooling. A 500 cc turbo rotary engine spinning at 12k would be entertaining and light weight. That’s right they are all closed loop! I’m actually in the shopping process now to get a 2nd Waverunner for the wife, the sales guy I talked to said there was a dealer press release on the new car coming out, I feel 90% confident there will be a whole new car out come August.
I hope it comes with some tech and a better interior layout. Hell Sea Doo is set up with Garmin, would be awesome to see it come with the new tread unit mounted in the car. That’s a big leg up on ride command and it would offer Audio outputs.
