According to the information provided by members of the community, Can-Am will not be releasing any new news on the Maverick platform until August. This is when they have their summer club event for dealers and all product changes will be announced to them. There is internal rumbling on big changes, but only very few know and it is being kept under lock and key. August is when BRP will break Polaris's heart.

Heard a rumor from a good source today along the lines of things mentioned previously. New machine model, bigger, wider, more travel. Some will love it but it may not be what all of us are exactly looking for.
I only say that because I ride a variety of terrain and believe the X3 is the best universal platform.

you duners and and high speed desert only guys should be happy though!

Hopefully, there’s a little truth in that!

Can anyone provide any details? weight? travel? Power plant info?
I wasn’t told anything specific, I was just on the phone ordering parts and started asking what they might know and that’s all I was told. He said he knew a couple other little details but not a whole lot, and he wasn’t allowed to say much else.
I know, sounds fishy lol but I guess canam is really trying to drop a bomb on this one.
I was confused in regards to if there’d be a 24’ X3 too, or just the new model they’re releasing but I didn’t want to press too much

It would make sense for BRP to drop their new model. Every other manufacturer has played their hands, and BRP / Can Am knows what is out there.

Hopefully about as wide as a Pro R

It would behoove BRP to keep doing what they have been doing. Same new model, wider for the West coast, skinnier for the East coast. Everybody has a choice, and should be happy.

Think they call it the X4? Keep the X3 just add a new line? One of Robby Gordon’s last videos he calls out Can Am and Polaris saying they want to step it up to 1300CC and 2000CC, does he know what they have coming? What does Rotax have that’s 1300CC and say 250ish HP? IMO they should use the sea doo 1650CC supercharged motor making 300HP. That would be killer!

wonder if it will be just the X3 or if they are doing a whole new redesign of all the "older" sxs like the sports?

I think they will drop a whole new genre. The others would be upgraded at a later date to "keep them fresh". I feel the x3 will stay in the lineup.
I agree, part of the new class of Jeeps. All the cost, none of the creature comforts. This will be THE class for the wide open country folks. (And people back east trying to fit them on Two way trails that barely let a 64" machine pass another 64" machine without falling off a mountain)

A Pro R is 136.5"L X 74W X 72.8H. 225HP 2100lbs $37-60?K
A Jeep Wrangler is 167L X 74W X 74H. A 4000lbs 285HP Wrangler Sport starts at 35K, The Fancy 392 Rubicon is 470HP and 83K
