That's the world of sport sxs's. Look how long Polaris milked the XP 1000 platform! Introduced in 2013, continued with electronic, engine and component upgrades without a total redesign until really the Pro r. I never considered the turbo S as a new machine as the polaris fans did, it was still essentially the same chassis, interior deminsons as the original Xp 1000, with a lot of upgrades and refinements. The X3 has been out, relatively unchanged since 2017 so by comparison, Polaris stayed with the same overall design for 10 years whereas it looks like Canam will have stayed with this platform for 6 years without a major redesign. I like to think that Canam was considerably ahead of the time with the X3 and that's why it's lasted this long. Really until the Pro R, I and probably most of you reading this, wasn't considering buying anything else or anything new since the X3 was the pinnacle of sxs. The Pro R was introduced in November of 2021 so honestly, Canam is really not that far behind, and they're still winning most of the races with the X3 platform even against the much larger displaced and suspended Pro R. Can't wait until August.
