I believe it’s only a few weeks until the on-line dealers meeting, just wondering Wtf anyone thinks is about to happen/change for the 2024 lineup. I’m waiting to buy a new XMR RR
What should change on the Mavs anyone dead against anything currently bugging them?

We are not getting away from the manufacturer controlling what we buy.

That's going to get worse not better

BMW can charge for electric seat heaters long after you purchase the car. You're just renting the electric seats.

So it's the the way of the future like it or not.

Sad but true. BUT with enough customer push back, we can scare manufacturers enough to rethink that strategy for a bit of time.
Hell, who am I kidding, the latest generations could care less about cars, trucks or even a driver's license. Our near future is, we OWN no vehicle and hire a service on all levels. Sad, Sad future....

Yea I bet they still offer the 64, the 72, and hopefully they come up woth something in the 77-80” range as this is the Max width for desert racing sanctioning bodies. Not going to lie, a lot of what I do a 77-80” machine will be really wide, but the other 30-40% of the time I’d love the hell out of it.

A DTC can also have an automatic mode which if done properly like a Ferrari 458 or 488 can work really well on the track and in the fast stuff. Sometimes I’m grateful I don’t have to worry about shifting because these can already be a handful, but again, overall I think it would be a huge plus if it can be shifted or put into an auto mode.

But all of this is also why Im working on stuffing a Hayabusa motor into an X3 and build it the way I want it. Lol

man...i hope not. im all for good change but really dont want to see integrated radios, smart this and that, needing phones to control stuff, yada yada. 250hp would be fun but i will never use that much hp. wi will probably never make 72"+ legal on trails anyway.

i ride/drive to get away from electronics, not have more of them to screw with. I don't want to have phone calls, emails, radios blaring, and other stuff ringing and notifying me while riding. Im not going to spend 30k+ on machines that aren't 100% road legal to drive any time, anywhere. it just isnt going to happen, i will be stepping down from the hp and electronics wars and will just have to be ok with that.

these machines will continue to be the demise of riding areas, that were once a 48" 500cc atv width wide, and now have some hoodlum with too much money cranking his yuppy music and drinking his white claw while brushing out his manbun.

You have to understand though, I “think” BRP will do it somewhat the way Polaris did. Don’t want the Pro R with all the bells and whistles, fine, buy an XP Pro, or whatever their lower models are.

I suspect BRP will do the same. Here is our new killer model to take on the Pro R and Speed car. For those not looking to spend $XXXXX, we still have a watered down version of the X3, with BNG, and no changes, for $XXXXX. I definitely think that’s where it’s headed, IMO.

im sure they will, they always do. if its anything like some of the sled features, it will be a clustered up mess for a bit anyways haha. those 10.25" gauges arent all they are cracked up to be with the nav and such on in them as others have mentioned.

that is true for a lot of people, thats for sure. i used to not mind having payments but as i get further along and pay stuff off it has started to give me anxiety when i think of more payments. i prefer to have as few as possible. 2 is enough for now...

My plan is to build ours nice enough to not want that new model.. haha 😄 Im excited to see how they answer back to that pro r. Sometimes I feel like such a can am rider That it makes me despise polaris. But I see a pro R in the wild and that damn thing is pretty neat. I like things over built to last. And it seems like they did just that from your guys'/girls' reviews. My father in law is a 300 plus pound big guy driving his polaris 1000. Looks like donkey Kong. I've been telling him to get that big girl.

If I would've known, I was going to build mine like I did I could have saved probably 20-30K and just bought a wrecked one for the engine and had CT do my whole build with everything including custom frame and cage out of chromoly.
