Yes, it's nice to have them that close to Glamis. I live in Banning, and their ADM at the Banning location are the highest I've ever seen anywhere. Parts prices are similar to any other dealer. Haven't had any service done other than mounting/demounting paddle tire on my Husky (I hate changing motorcycle tires!).

 

Never tried to buy a vehicle from Coyne, but have certainly used the El Centro location on Glamis Trips. It really is nice having them there and they seem to actually keep a good amount of product in stock!

 

Been super busy prepping for SSSS, but back to regular programming now. The Maverick R looked to have a single engine oil drain plug, same part number as prior M18 x 1.5. Recessed about 2.5" over a 2" diameter access. Certainly a big improvement from the X3. Thanks to all the members who swung by the booth to say hello!

It will yes! So anyone who has a Curtis valve on their X3 who is moving to an R, bring it with you.

The black ones look nice in person. They black but a lot of the body is really more a graphite color. It breaks it up nice and they look good

Yeah, that looks nice. I've never been a huge fan of all black (even though my 2020 is all black!), but that black/graphite combo with the silver wheels is bomb!

 

I think the all black looks better because it isn’t so busy. You have the yellow, white, black, grey, silver and then the decals all on one machine lol. I personally like yellow, but there’s wayyyy too much going on

 

Hopefully in future years we will get better colors. I like the black/red/tan colors. Looks are obviously subjective but I’m not a fan of the yellow at all.

 

RG is kind of upping the game with his multi-choice patterns and infinite color options. There should be no two the same out there. That is a true advancement for the industry, like or hate RG.

 

You only get that option with the LE models. If you order the RG edition you get the orange. Still pretty cool the customers got to choice a custom wrap. My guess is after the direct order cars are delivered people will pay a premium for the custom colors.

 

Premium indeed. Like everything else. It is a very frustrating experience over there. Glad my Canam will be in the garage soon.

here you go. I went and got quite a few pics. Also it appears that the curtis valve will be good just because it’s simple haha. There is one drain plug for engine oil and one for transmission. It looks like both drain straight down into the opening and not on a cross member. Also the oil filter and oil fill are much easier! Battery has a nice cover on it as well haha.

 

Got a closer look today. The oil filter housing angle will cause a spill when you remove the cover, but at least it is completely exposed and easy to prepare for.

well I wish it was mine, but I am now waiting for the 4 seater haha. This is actually Bent Metals car. They are in my town and I help themout quite a bit designing and testing etc. they got it Friday.

 

Thanks! Love the oil drain bolt (where it’s situated). Looks like BRP finally got that right, might not have to remove the skid plate rivets, and replace with rivnuts.

 

 

Interesting, he says the smart lock diff is larger than the one in the regular X3 in the video. That’s definitely good to know.

I wonder if the drown mode is still a thing? Even though it doesn’t have the secondary drain plug is it needed to drain the oil filter?
