I don’t mind the new looks. Like some is the tech. But for my riding don’t see a need to upgrade.

I feel they pussed out on the engine size. Presenter talked a little smack about the other manufacturers not sticking with the 1000 CC agreed limit which was comical imo as they are too big and heavy these days for a ~20 ? year old CC agreement.
So we get a (still too damn) small motor with lots of boost and heat which requires anti-lag to keep the boost up on throttle chop due in part to the loss off the CVT - which we all love and hate.😕

Correct, you only have 2" clear, best you could do is a 35 maybe.

I don’t care for the looks of the upper arms, looks goofy for now, but I want to drive the DCT and I like generally like the feel of a direct connection in the drivetrain.

I’ll be getting one of the top two graphics kits in my post above.

If I don’t like it I’ll sell it or give it to my one of my sons.
I work hard for my money, my kids are all raised and I’ll try it out and ignore my distaste for the upper arms and knuckles and anticipate the performance will overshadow that.

Maybe next year will have better colors lol. It looks ok in black but they should have painted the ugly knuckles too.

Looks like a home run other than those knuckles. They ruin it for me. Really like the interior. Is everything double shear now? Man, I just hate those front knuckles.

 

I think the main selling point is going to be the engine and the DCT. The performance there should be pretty awesome. Will be curious to see what the reliability ends up being.

Not really a fan at all. Less travel than a Pro R and I just really don’t like the looks of the machine at all. Some cool features but not for me

When my dealer opens on Tuesday we are going to have along conversation about how I want one spec‘d.

 

I was on the fence about purchasing a new one, I think I am going to hold off now put a couple more miles on my x3 and see if they come with a 4 seater next year.
