We will not know anything about the SXS models for 2024 until summer time when they normally announce the SXS stuff.

 

Full chromoly chassis, 6 speed sequential, flat plane V8 with 600-750hp, 92” wide with 28”-30” of usable travel and running on 37’s....I can always dream anyways. Lol

I’ve been waiting on a new X3 for 3 years...I’m not holding my breath for can-am to do anything anymore until sales slow down.

21- August-2023 will be the release date of a new category of sxs's, it looks like the x3 but its bigger in size like the Pro R.

Can-am will not be releasing any new news on the Maverick platform until August. This is when they have their summer club event for dealers and all product changes will be announced to them. There is internal rumbling on big changes but only very few know and it is being kept under lock and key. August is When BRP will break Polaris's heart !!!

Why anyone would want to even give some hints with the negative B.S. posts some you make ?

Here's how I and a few others got to drive every 2017 X3 model prior to the release. I and another guy know someone who works for BRP.

I got this same reaction on GD .com that you guys just did. I was only able to give some small details prior to a certain date prior to driving but I knew the machine basic specs.

If a guy was talking $hit then why not run off about all kinds of rumors? I am going to go on record and say I suspect they are both being forthright. Save this post and let's see.

My buddy has not told me anything about what's being released. But I do know when he does it's very limited.

Some of you $hit talk a new guy and are just being a dicks. Like HW said someone always knows something and I doubt anyone will ever give is info with the way some of you treat guys who do!

We are not talking about State secrets so lots of guys know but they have to keep the information in the downlow.

I for one appreciate the hints.

I have the picture that had you sitting in one of those cars. I remember thinking how big it must have been that you seemed to fit comfortably in it.

I will call my dealer tomorrow and let him know I want one if they release an answer to the Pro R, unless of course it looks like a dung beetle as well.

 

I understand, and agree with you, Tim... I'm a new guy also.. new guys can pull new guys' legs, it's in the handbook!

Hints are great but sometimes they feel like walking in to a room when someone's chatting about.. What? Oh, nothing...

Prying eyes always want more details and with the come-N-goers of forums, it leaves a void of skepticism to be filled when there's no proof. I caught a 42lb trout after I ran a 5 second pass at the strip in my NA Pontiac Sunfire.... Pictures or bullchit.

Cobruhh happened to bring a PoPo tikkytok tweeter image to the party - that's proof. Understandable that Can Am isn't bragging about the new toys @ 6 months away... But if it's true we just want to see the naked truth, not have a person register an account to say Yeh he's right I seen it. Just seemed odd to me... Hell, if that same person would've done an introduction and asked for help with the offset on their bike's performance key, I wouldn't even be typing this!

We all play nice but have different beliefs and ideas. That's what makes us great. I look forward to a new Can Am sxs being unveiled in August 🤘

 

I have been a horizontally opposed motor guy for quite a while, Airplanes and Corvair & Porsche. Their have been a few flat 8’s out most recently such Porsche so the Vet isn’t surprising

Oh i've been hoping and waiting for a machine that will blow the doors of any popo right now.. however i'm not in the market for it at the moment so i'm less anxious about it lol. I hope this person is right, and not just someone who is spectulating like the right of us have been for the last 3 years

 

As most I hope can am does have an upgraded SxS coming out. But I wouldn’t be looking to buy till 2025 anyways. It be nice to see what happens

videos of that motor are surprisingly quiet. I expected a lot more noise from a high revving engine than that.

 

Just my guess...but I think they will release a new chassis and/or engine. In 2019 they only did a color change from the late 2018 to the 2019. Then in 20' we got the Turbo RR and the Smart Shox in 21'.

They only did a color change for 23', so my guess is new something...

 

they haven't changed the color on the sport max in like 4 years lol
