I believe it’s only a few weeks until the on-line dealers meeting, just wondering Wtf anyone thinks is about to happen/change for the 2024 lineup. I’m waiting to buy a new XMR RR
What should change on the Mavs anyone dead against anything currently bugging them?

I have worked on many of those PWC 1503/1630's and they dont sound like that, but they do send there exhaust thru a water box/muffler which may limit the sound/alter the sonic wave. The patent pics look like there is a REALLY BIG catalytic converter on this motor so it could be the slightly detuned 255hp that they use in the Scarab boats which is the 1503.

Finally we get a more appropriately sized engine for a desert / dune machine and no rubber band!

Thanks in Advance Can Am!
So id imagine this new can am will be about the same size as pro r. I wonder if people actually like the pro r for east coast riding/trails. Seems like everywhere we go its always x3’s and xp/turbo r’s everywhere. We never see any pro rs in ohio,wv,kentucky,tn etc

I like my Pro R for east coast riding, Pro R is great in the trails. I'll be in WV again the end of this month and back down in October, but also ride FRO and AOAA all time. Never have a problem with the size of the machine.

I’ve seen a few Pro Rs in my neighborhood, tighter mountain trails. While I’m sure they’re super capable in wide open areas, around here they are the first to get stuck in areas you didn’t even know were soft. Just too damned heavy. And they better hope there’s a Jeep nearby or 3 other friends with SxSs. I imagine this new CanAm will have the same results.

I can't wait! I seriously doubt Canam would release something at this point that's behind anything else. The X3 was way ahead of everyone else in 2017 and I suspect this machine will be the same. Remember, the Pro R is tops at this moment, but I suspect if it weren't for the covid farse, that platform would have been introduced probably a year or two before it actually was so technically, that platform is older than the MY's would indicate. For those who hate the only TWO pictures we've seen of this machine, hey it's all good, no one will be forced to buy one! Some of you are indicating that the Pro R works fine in limited space for you, and this new car from Canam will likely work well there too, but I don't think that's what either of these machines are built for anyway. I know I will be purchasing one of these two platforms soon and it's a pretty cool time to be watching the development of the sxs industry. I do kind of miss the days back around 2007 when I was one of only a few who owned a sxs and they were a novelty but that's certainly not the case anymore. Bring it on!

The guy that is designing and installing my rear steering is also designing and going to build an OHV for the KOH electric class that is going to have more power than the Tesla Plaids 1,000 HP. He said when it's done it should weigh in around 2,200 pounds (2,600lbs lighter than the Tesla Plaid). It will have 6 batteries that can be removed and replaced within a few minutes.

Agreed, but according to the patent photos, it's a triple, just like the current X3 so even if it's 300 or 400 cc's larger displacement, it probably wouldn't sound too much different. Personally, I was hoping they'd follow suit with Polaris and have a much bigger NA engine, but the current X3 certainly doesn't lack for power.
