According to the information provided by members of the community, Can-Am will not be releasing any new news on the Maverick platform until August. This is when they have their summer club event for dealers and all product changes will be announced to them. There is internal rumbling on big changes, but only very few know and it is being kept under lock and key. August is when BRP will break Polaris's heart.

The 300 HP motor might only make 170 if you were riding in a 120*F lake, to match intake temps from an air-air intercooler on a hot day. Easy to make power with unlimited cold water cooling. A 500 cc turbo rotary engine spinning at 12k would be entertaining and light weight.
You should read more. It’s closed loop with a liquid to air intercooler, lake water temp means nothing to those.

Best to follow your own advice. The engine is filled with coolant that dumps heat into the water via a plate on the bottom of the machine. The intercooler and exhaust are cooled with raw water. Otherwise you would have a 2 ft x 2 ft radiator on the front of the machine like a lawn tractor. Haha. Having an infinite cold water heat sink will always make a lot more power than being air cooled. The supercharged sea-doo motors don’t rely on air cooling.

its called the 10.25 color gauge
its expensive, most like it and some hate it
its brp attempt to compete with the new polaris dash
if you have to have use your phone in your car
this is your dream dash
if you still have a flip phone, dont waist your money on this
the first color dash was the 7.8 and was a fail
the brp app was not well though out and was late on updates
the 10.25 is out now on high end sleds and bikes
IMO read about the dash, learn about using it
before you spend $1000 on it
last it looks like this gauge is also having quality issues like the others

I could see Apple CarPlay being a positive as you could essentially project lifetime trail maps, OnX Offroad, etc. on the display. It would give users more of a choice on what they want to use without having to mount a tablet.

No they do not use lake or sea water in anyway, they use the ride plate as a heat sink to extract engine heat just like a radiator, simple inlet and outlet containing the engine coolant in a closed system. Super easy to swap that out for a radiator in any sxs.

Now Kawasaki and Yamaha DO use lake water to run through engine passage ways to keep them cool.

I pretty confident that lake water is used in the cooling of the water jackets for the exhaust system (so not to saturate/heat soak the "cooling system"). If I recall correctly, the water passes through the inter-cooler and exhaust water jackets, then is dumped back to the lake through the drain/exhaust.

Even the animation you provided shows you are incorrect.

Yes I agree 100%. Hot water temps or air temps WILL EFFECT power output (negatively). It's easy to keep something cool when you have a unlimited water to transfer the heat to, but using hot water to cool will reduce power (the ECU will reducing boost and or timing to keep the motor from detonation).

the stock steering wheel is not that bad on the current X3, hopefully the new design will be even better.. Seems like an opportunity for the aftermarket to come up with high quality comfy steering wheel cover/sleeve that can be installed.
