I believe it’s only a few weeks until the on-line dealers meeting, just wondering Wtf anyone thinks is about to happen/change for the 2024 lineup. I’m waiting to buy a new XMR RR
What should change on the Mavs anyone dead against anything currently bugging them?

I really don’t see BRP / Can Am doing anything more than minor changes / color changes. They know the model sells, why do anything more than minor tweaks? Plus the fact that they’re not exactly getting the ‘23 model line out the door quickly enough doesn’t bode well for major changes, IMO. We’ll have to wait and see.

I don't think BRP has any choice but to release something new soon.

The Turbo R is a much more capable machine. The two major drawbacks are the lack of punch on the throttle. Overall HP is good but not snappy when pulling out of a corner or transitions at the dunes. The other is and this is just being honest, it's UGLY AF!

Now with that said the one finger steering and the live valve shocks are light years ahead of an X3. The heaving duty chassis and suspension components are much better than an X3.

The reason BRP pulled ahead is because Polaris was complacent and now BRP needs to get serious.

my opinion, not much will change for 24, if anything. they have a good machine now and will continue to run with it. it is a great trail width (64") machine and outruns anything else in the class.

i think they will do updates on the commander and the mav trail/sport first. get a little more hp in those machines and lend themselves to that side of the cross over market. It is the newer chassis and is still a bit of a work in progress, imagine a 120hp commander- that would be perfect. i still cant believe they didnt put the ace in that chassis instead of the v twin. so much potential and wasted it on the 700 and 1000. oh well... if it had that kind of hp and engine potential, i would be in that instead of my defender. if im going to have the v twin, i might as well have a full box and such to go with it.

id like to see what the actual sales volume is for each one and how many x3s are actually sold compared to the rest. if the x3 is really still the king of the fleet or if any of those are getting closer. i see a lot of cross over machines in wi and not as many x3/rzr s turbos around.

i wouldnt put it passed them to put the premium skidoo gauge in, it has the gps, skidoo go app, and phone integration in it. that would likely be the biggest change and wouldnt be terrible, other than that the integration hasnt been all that great with the phones and the mapping isnt super great.

That would be nice I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to carry it over to the X3.

I think someone mentioned 2023 is Can-Ams 50th Anniversary so surely they'll surprise us with something later this year lol

i was also thinking about it and thought maybe a new ds450 or something is in the works. that would be neat, i wonder how big that market is these days? i feel like the sport machines really died quickly back in 2007-2009. it would be cool to see them come back again... would anyone jump back to a sport machine that has a sxs now??

i wouldnt jump back... my body thanks me every time i get in my x3 instead of hopping on my 400ex.

Agree! Sea Doo Spark was very similar to the old SeaDoo XPs of the mid 90s. That boat revolutionized PWC racing. I loved that boat! BRP has to see there is a niche for sport ATVs. Hopefully, they put one out.

That's agreed, BUT...the manufacture with the top flagship gets the perceived public moniker of being the best UTV.

The dunes are a huge part of showing off the top of line flagship.

Its just like Motocross used to be and NASCAR in the early 70's. Win on Sunday and sell on Monday.

Obviously KOH has the same effect.

Camp Gayzor in Glamis draws big publicity for Polaris showing off the sport models.

On a side note, "DUNE ENVY" has been a proven thing by fact checkers from Facepalm and the DNC for several years now. 😂

When I saw my BRP rep back in Jan he said there was a Ski-Doo and ATV dealer meeting in a few weeks and that some kind of wicked ATV was coming out but he didnt know what.

2024 MY will mark 50 year anniversary for BRP as a whole so I would expect something in the fall. I think I know where that meeting is being held but nothing rock solid yet...

we had an outlander before our sport max, and my whole family loved it. My special needs little girl would run down the stairs whenever she heard the quad fire up in the garage. I wouldn't mind another one, but knowing they don't trail ride like a sxs is kind of keeping me away from getting another one down the road. But i believe it would get rode less than ours did (less than 700 miles in 3 years of ownership)

Funny how Yamaha ruled for some time with the Banchi and the Raptors 660 and the Rhino

I can only Guess who will dominate the next round of development

It’s kinda like MLB owners NY & SD one wants to win every game the others only want to spend enough to fill the ball park to make money ( Money Ball )

I used and abused my ATV's on the property for years, both for utility and having my sled dogs pull them for training 1000-2000 miles every year before hitting the snow.

There were only two brands that were reliable with me....... #1 Honda, always fired with the hit of the switch. #2 Yamaha.
Suzuki and Kawasaki, I always had problems with.

I still have an 02 Honda 4Trax and 06 Yamaha 660 Grizzly along with a 2021 Honda Pioneer 700 UTV. .........And my old reliable '92 YZ250 race bike.

Have to agree with you about the reliability of the older Honda's. Had a 95 300 Fourtrax 4x4 I absolutely beat the living hell out of. That bike - *four wheeled horseless carriage vehicle I rode from the drivers position, deserves some respect. The 98 Foreman we got later was still tough, but the headlight/monitor didn't hold up to being rolled over very well. Awhile later we picked up a Rhino when they came into existence and it wasn't long before the four wheelers got sold off. It was just better and more comfortable and far more useful for farm chores. Since then the farm added a gator, replaced the Rhino for a fuel injected version, a Razor *sold, A Maverick *sold, and 3 X3's.

the high end models should get the new 10.25 touch screen dash
