The new set up! HD slik kote beadlocks and sdi 28"x10"x14" tires. They measure almost 2" taller than the stock bighorns. Looking forward to my next trip with these bad boys! image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Post a pic of them on the mav when you get them on. I have been looking at them and trying to imagine what they would look like on my mav.

So the sdi's are 2" in height? I think the Mav stockers are 27. Now wondering if they are a true 27? You get the setup from a vender on here? Looking myself.

Yes, they are 2" taller-both tires measured off the vehicle with a digital level and tape measure. I don't believe the stockers are a true 27". They are very soft rubber compound, that is why they are lighter. A stiffer compound- 8 ply- will hold rigidity better. I think this calculates to the big differences in height comparisons, to the stockers. Maybe my theory is wrong? Other people have a better conclusion?

Rat77, can you slide the ass end out with the Roctanes? Give a little review of what you think off them?

Hey, ratt77 is not sporting the rocktanes. Those are big mudder tires.

I was looking at doing this same set up on my Max. (28" roctanes) Hoping to still slide her sideways and not feel to much of a power loss. Keep us updated!

One of our Managers has 28x10R14 all the way around on his side by side and loves them. Sorry it's not a Maverick but here is a photo of them at this years Discount Tire Rally on the Rocks.

Here is a link to them on our web site:

Got them on. Final weight is 49.2lbs at each corner. I believe stock was 42 something in the rear? So they add some rotating mass. I have a qsc/STM setup. I don't even notice it. There is more top end-due to taller tire. Only a few mph. Mid range feels faster. 25mph-40mph. I believe it is because the tire is already turning and with the added mass, it feels to come on faster. Just by feel though. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

For sure. I wish I would have known there was a vendor on here to sell tires. Sorry, next time you will get my business.

Got 30ish miles on tires today. They are fantastic. They grip and hook up 10x better than stock. I rode in dirt, with several sections of rock. Semi flat rocks. Nothing very sharp. I averaged 35-40mph. Tires look perfect. No bad scuffs, tears, or problems at all. Highly recommend this tire.
