I would look for the source of the issue instead of adding another battery. You have something draining it when the vehicle is off. What mods have you done to it?
i would agree you have a draw on the system. I would also put a main battery kill switch on it, this way you know nothing is drawing it down and when you trickle charge it you will not be putting any power into the system.
I have the same stuff on it that I had for a long time, it's only lately it loses its charge from week to week.. I don't know what could be drawing from it now that would be so different then before
I agree.
check for a draw, if none found then its simply a bad battery that wont hold a charge. you could also take it to a autozone/auto store and have them check to see if it holds a charge
How would u test for a draw

Make sure your cables are tight to the battery. My positive side bolt was cross-threaded into the nut so it seemed tight but wasn't .Use a socket instead of a screwdriver and see if that helps.
nice reference videos Benzo...

any suggestions for a better battery under 150$. What series interstate is that mega?
Stinger 720 or the Stinger 925 very good product and not to heavy and well priced too $140 on the Net for the 720. I did 2 720 on my Maverick and 2 925 in my Commander but 2 925 is to much power and weight 2 720 is perfect. In my Maverick I installed them in the stock location and another under the driver seat with a Stinger Battery Isolator.
