Yes this is normal. When I ordered it was about two months. Steve went thru a moving stage last year into a bigger facility. He has also been down to one employee (himself) not sure if he has found some replacements or not for the other two. Good help is hard to find these days.
I was in the same situation you are and he fulfills his request in the order they are received. All in all it is worth the wait IMO.. I am very happy with his involvement in tuning and the remote product support. With his product and help we have a successful Turboed Maverick. Just my $.02.
