No extra speed unlocked at 10 hours...you may get some extra power when the engine and belt get broke in other than that nothing....as far as the top speed

on a 4 seater should be over 80mph in the right conditions.

 

It's in the 80s. Just make sure you're using the correct key. One of the keys is the "trainer" key and it limited on power and speed.

 

That's the key that should be used if you loan your rig to your adult son and have a leaky back shock.

I would assume its pretty close for 2 and 4 seater. My 2 seater I think is 87 MPH.

Thank you all for the fast replys , My unit only has 6 hours I tried it down A long dirt stretch and went only 56mph seemed to be restricted when I hit 56mph did not wanna go faster then that with the (Gray) performance key

 

Performance key should do full speed. I would check both keys, color doesn't matter dealer can program them either way. Tim

 

My gray key was the training key my green key was performance. My max takes about 2-300 yards to really start stretching her legs and I have topped out at 75 MPH and havent pushed for more. I did notice for the first 30-40 miles the motor felt very "tight" for a lack of a better description and after that kind of opened up. More responsive with less delay and a bit snappier, however I have read that the tune and catalytic converter are really what hold her back out of the gate.

 

Tim My gray key says performance key on the dash, this has me puzzled that its only goes up to 56 mph once I hit 56mph it does not want to pull more

 

Zambo I feel no pin to the seat , I will run it again on the weekend hopefully the problem gets resolved

But my 4 seater did 76 in the dune flats before I had the clutch redone and Evo tune. Now it does 80 in the flats but gets there just a little faster.
I run 32" CST paddles and 4WD.

85 this past weekend all stock on frontage road Max in front of me said he was doing 90...85 was good enough for me :big smile:

 

Life begins at 90+ in an X3, well at least until the belt goes boom! Throw some 32" tires on it and you will be at 90+

 

You just need to find a taller cliff to drive off , bigger the cliff the faster you go by the bottom

Mine will go 90+ on stock big horns. 2wd on asphalt and 4wd in dirt. When I get to start riding more again I'll throw some 32's on and see how she does.

 

Coming from a Teryx4, I'm pretty sure my MAX is doing well over 100!

Not much much difference at any speed, it's only really going to matter at what RPM the motor is reving at

 

why is top speed necessary to know or more importantly try to do. crazy. I can immediately tell when someone asks me how fast my bike goes that he is not an atver. silly question and even sillier to try and find out.

 

When people ask how fast my X3 goes I look them in the eye and say “not to brag but I made the Kessel run in less the 12 parsecs” and then walk away.

 

2020 maverick x3 max turbo 4 seater hit 79mph over the weekend.

 

My 2 seater tops out at 85-86 on the limiter, that's 83 per gps. I did notice tire pressure (stock big horns 29") at 25psi top end pulls harder, at 10 psi, can fee/hearl the tires dragging, acceleration starts to suck around 65, 15 psi seems to be the sweet spot for ride and acceleration. Thats on roads and wooded trails. But like everyone else, top speed means nada in the woods, its all about the go.

When people ask me how fast it goes, I tell them "it will out accelerate and handle faster than you can think"

My trainer key has minimal boost and tops out around 55. Puts it on par with rangers and defenders.

 

My 2019 x3 Rc turbo r won’t go past 90 🙁 2 seater, 2 wheel drive in the dirt, and at 90 I’m not worried about the belt, just what’s in front of me and keeping control in the dirt! Sometimes I think about the guys behind me in the dust cloud trying to keep up and feel a little bad 👹

 

Do you have it in eco mode??switch there on the dash.

 

I hit 90 in my 20 Max XRS this past weekend. The dash says top speed it has seen was 95mph, not sure if it was downhill or what, I didn't take it that fast. I bought it with 240 miles on it.

 

There is a section in the NORRA race on day 3 between San Ignacio and Loreto that has a lot of high speed road. The first year I did that section pinned (stock motor and tune) in my 2 seater and got it up to about 92 or so with 32" tires. I was able to hold it wide open for some pretty long stretches...the belt got up to about 200 or so but it held on. Only problem was i ran out of gas about 5 miles short of the pit....bummer! These things drink fuel pretty good when you stand on it for long periods. Last year I ran in eco mode and I had a roof rack so the car would only do about 80 maybe 85 tops.
