So this past weekend in Mexico, my buddies popped out of auto and went into neutral. Occurred during him going high speed up a dune and and also high speed straight away. The dune climb put him in a really bad spot and could have ended with him rolling. I've read some other Maverick owners experiencing the same thing. Of course you had comments saying, "keep it in manual". That's not a solution.....any vehicle you buy that have auto, should stay in auto....not pop into neutral at the most inappropriate times. Someone is going to get hurt if this is a bigger issue. Anyone else experience this shit?

Yes I have experienced popping out of gear with my R in the Dunes and it is scary, called dealership and they have a case number but no answer yet from cam am has been about 2 weeks now as I posted on another hopefully it’s a program update but not sure if not I will be asking for a full refund.

Mine has done it in manual mode which I use 90 percent of the time. It's done it around 4 times and it almost has 900 miles on it. Mine also jumped out just at the crest of the dune and I had to back down quite a ways. I've never had it happen at speed, only when going slow and putting hard force on the drive train.

Had this happen to me this past weekend. Luckily I was on a flat straightaway. Around 3rd going into 4th with the gas pedal mashed to the floor, thought I lost drive shafts as it instantly redlined.
Meh. It’s a solid car. How people forget KOH. THIS sounds like something they should be able to address though tuning. We’ll see🍿
My only issue with the car at the price point is the inferior crap they continue to throw on them in the form of 1/8 skids🤪 and cheap azz saggy springs.

As an FYI BRP assigns "case numbers" to each individual service issue.

I have a case number for mine now, the dealer updated the software in the transmission and the shifter module? I also added that mine was an early one and doesn't have the added C type channel welded on the front A-arms near the rear pivot point.
I also installed an Super ATV 1/2 inch skid plate today. Looks pretty good.
