Has anyone found a way to keep the backup camera on at speed, since you cant really see out the back?

as soon as I get to speed @12-15 mph they shut off and dash says slow down.

There's a toggle that says allow feed at speed. Turn that on

Where can I find this toggle? Thanks

Mine pops up in the top right corner, try hitting the 3 dots menu.

You can also try hooking your Mav R to wifi and see if the software will update. Since mine is a 25 the menu might be different. I can take a pic of it if you need.

I tried that this morning and it showed no updates available.

Go into camera from the main screen

This is the menu button you want to hit, the 3 dots in the top right corner.

Then this pops up

No dots and only 2/3 screen. Says no updates available?

#19 ·
Did you get to the camera by putting it in reverse or by going through the home screen button?

#24 ·
Yes it has from camera too, just gives me a flip camera view logo.
yeah I think a trip to the dealer is in order. I really hope that they update your software.

I have to go there to pick up some parts so the service manager said just bring it with me and they'll check it for updates with buds. Only downside is its 3 hours each direction.

When the dealer brought their BUDS computer to my house to fix my key, they showed me how it worked (made me want to buy it) but it seemed like if you plug the vehicle in and wait for it to connect/link up, there are various sections for ECM, Gauges etc. and if there is an updated file available it will be listed. For my ECM no files were listed so they said that means it's up to date. I wished there was a note that said "your machine is up to date" instead of a blank list but it is what it is.

I would ask the dealer to plug it in and review each section to see what can be updated. There are no 2025 listings on the partzilla OEM catalog yet so I can't see if the color screen has a different PN, I would think the menus and stuff would work on both.

Looks like an update will be coming soon.

Awesome!! I'm really looking forward to more software updates via WiFi without having to go to the dealer, that will be cool if they keep adding stuff.

I saw this elsewhere too and wondering if we will be able to do wifi updates. I'm pretty much a tech spazz; do you do this through your phone???

#35 ·
It will automatically update itself of connected to your wifi.

Didn't know that was in there, thanks. (I do avoid tech badly.) Found some other things too. Got my phone tied in but can't make the BRP GO! work nor get my phone contacts/calls showing. 40 min on the phone with BRP wasted too. But that's probably another thread. Thanks for the help.
