I just purchased a Maverick X3 X RC Turbo and have been struggling with ideas of where/how to mount two hunting rifles. I’m trying to avoid mounts in the X3’s cockpit, both floor and roof. My background: retired military, 23-yrs SOC so I have a passion for both long-range shooting and hunting coupled with a strong desire to run mountain trails day and night. Why the background, so you understand my passion and intent. My intent is to securely mount two hunting rifles to transport from UTV unloading area to our campsite, hunting area, shooting location, etc., back to the trailer for loading. I have absolutely No intent of mounting anything other than hunting/long-range style rifles 56-inches or less...NO .50cals and NO scenes from Blade Runner. I have looked at every combination of products from Kolpin and others but am truly stumped. Any and all help would sincerely be appreciated. Thank you!

A budget solution that I have used on quads in the past was U bolts around a bar of your choice and through the bottom of a gun case of your choice. Cut bolt off and silicone top. Maybe across the C pillar bars and rotate the reservoirs to the outside or under? IMG_1705.JPG

Not fix mounts but I set one rifle on top of the rear harnesses inside a soft case. Rides perfect. Lay the other gun on dash in soft case. In less you roll the machine they will not move. I also have full cab to keep things in
those sand dunes look weird.

Here is what I did on mine. I bought a couple ATV Tek VFG1 V-Grip Single Rider Gun/Bow/Tool Rack kits from Amazon. They have a threaded bolt embedded in them that fits right through the roof hold down holes. You will need to drill the holes out a little larger and use a nylock nut on the bottom. They work great

Not a bad idea, but I would not mount the guns muzzle fwd.

I don't think it really matters which way they point. In this case, always someone who will get lasered.
Does not matter...?
You been driving around for the last two hours looking... you see that 12 point buck across the ravine... you stop, unlatch your 300 magnum, aim, squeeze and BOOM...your action just took most of your head off... just because of that little pebble...
