Looking at adding some lighting options & other electrical stuff - How much extra electrical draw can you operate at 4000rpm? While not digging into battery/starting functionality & not end up on fire?

2020 models have a bigger stator, which I believe is 850 watts. There is a thread on this forum talking about the 2020 stator output.

I assume its model specific for years, but does anyone know what wattage was generally on offer on the higher end models per model years?

Is this accurate, 2017/2018 450W? 2019/2020 650W to now 850W for 2021 supposedly due in part to smart shocks increased power needs?

You are correct 2021

What parts are required to go from a 450W to a 650W system?

Is it only the 650W output stator that is required? The voltage reg included with the 450W stator and other ancillary systems are the same or can handle the increased output?

2017/2018/2019/2020 are all 650 watt stators. Apparently only the smart shock 2021 has the 850 watt stator

Dealer ordered a ‘21 850 watt stator for my ‘17 - it was a few hundred dollars more in ancillary parts besides the stator.

Supposed to be around $1,200 installed, altogether.

Not THAT much extra power, but figure the ‘17 stator may be getting a LITTLE long in the tooth anyway.
