This is my temporary mounts until I can get the front bumper I want, once the plastic wings are removed the uprights are angled perfectly to point the lights outwards.

that works- if u want megadiesel on here sells kits to install those lights in place of the stock headlights also !

Are they angle outward for better side vision?

Yes, I don't like them pointing to far out but the tabs on the stock bumper I think sets them up just right so you can see just enough to the side.
