im running old outlaw 29.5 with no lift and wanting to get more gc out of the maverick. Shocks are like they were the day that i baught it, question is how far should i turn them up? or to set them at?
Start by running the rebound all the way in and compressions out. Don't mess with the spring height. Try that and report back, it worked well for me, real soft in the woods, kinda loose at 50mph+ though. If you can still bottom out, start dialing the compression in to suit. Where at in NC?
im located about 1.5hrs from greenville nc. I thought adjust the shock would be better than messing with the rebound. Im not familiar with these shocks, just wanting to get more groundclearance and still have a somewhat smooth ride.
