It would be good for many of us to hear about the experiences with those who put high miles on their X3.

If I combine the miles between my two X3s I am close to you. LOL!
I thought you've had three X3s? Didn't your first one split in two??

I’m getting the front gisseting kit. And while it’s apart gonna swap bushings and bearing and ball joints. Does the actual metal spacer sleeve that’s inside the a arm bushings wear any or those reusable?after the front is done il move towards the back of the car. I’d like a new ride but mines paid for and great shape and I’m not spending 30 grand for a new one. Lol. Can’t really complain with quality of the can am because I’ve had great service. So far.
If you buy a nice bushing kit it will come with all that... The better kits will come with new wear plate/friction sliders too.. Take a look at the "Super Daves" brand, complete kit and great quality!

You can re-use the crush sleeves unless your bushing kit comes with new ones.

I highly recommend buying new metal wear plates replacements for your bushings... you'll be glad you have them ready for the install, instead of trying to use the old ones.

I second this - so much easier!

After researching all the different kits and prices of the kits. I’m gonna go with super Dave kit. Although the cnc brass ones looks great. And cheaper. Any experience with those.
Good idea! They are likely going to be worn or damaged from moving around. Its nice to have spares too..
10,375 here
Power steering unit (driver error) carrier bearing, rear axles and drive gear, front lower a-arm bushings, sway bar bushings, wheel bearings, belt, rebuilt secondary.
Tires and brakes of course.
I think that wraps it up.
With observed high mileage and reported success with engine, trans etc. this implies to me buying the extended warranty (5 years $3200) is not needed. The extended warranty does not cover bushings and other wear items.....agree with my conclusion?
Not for that price... if you can get it for less than 2k it might be well worth it..
Best I can find is $3200 and this is from the dealer I purchased from.

that's insane! i paid $800 for mine, and includes everything (minus wear items and me driving it off a cliff/into a tree). INCLUDING the battery

I got you a "deal" for 36 Month (max they offer, 30 additional months) BRP B.E.S.T for $1750.00, PM me...

$3200 is an insane price of a warranty. In 2021 I paid $1,400.

Warranty on my 2018 X3 paid for itself. Paid to replace and upgrade power steering to a newer version, replaced my front diff too.

Current warranty covered the replacement of my oil pan. They paid $1,000 for that repair.
