Hey guys I have a X3 turbo and just started getting a code p1138 and the bike goes into limp mode. Has anyone ever had this issue before? Any help would be appreciated.

What does this code mean? What did Google say? What did you do to your machine to cause this?

HO2S Bank1 Sens2 Rich or Hi Volts from what I can find. Nothing on google at all. It just started doing it. We went for a ride in some wet area but nothing to horrible

Exhaust gas leaks
Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 (HO2S2) (Downstream) Bank 1
Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 Bank 1 harness is open or shorted
Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 Bank 1 circuit poor electrical connection
Inappropriate fuel pressure
Faulty fuel injectors

Needs an O2 sensor, or possibly a bad fuel pressure reg or fuel pump, clogged/stuck injector etc.

I saw this but we only have one sensor so it would be bank 1 sensor 1 unless it's just a generic code. I'm gonna start with o2 and pressure regulator and go from there.

OK I have a weird issue with my X3. I have no codes at all it will accelerate fine as soon as I let off then got to accelerate again it will not accelerate at all. The bike will only run between 10-15mph once I restart it it will accelerate fine for about 30seconds then do the same thing.

Yes I'm guessing the O2 sensor went bad I replaced it and the light went off. I'm going to try and disconnect the battery today really haven't had time to mess with it

Check all your boost tube connections . Check the barbs that the tubes connect to also

Yes the harness ended up being pinched I repaired the wires and it has been great. Thanks to all

Nub here. Brand new car (lol) and I do not yet have a manual nor have gone for my first ride in it. How do you read the codes? Do they pop up on screen? Or is there a reader to obtain? And how do you clear the codes?
