The other day I was searching for a glass windshield for my X3, found one but showing up too late for our Thanksgiving trip to the desert. During my search I came across a wind diffuser. I've never seen one and couldn't find any reviews . They claim it helps with wind and dust.So I had a thought. I have a half windshield I wasn't using (didn't like top bend right in sight). I cut 4" and installed. Looks close to same height as the diffuser but with a bend, no vents tho. What do you think ? waste of time or will it work ?

I know several people who like them, however they are tall and easy to see over.
I have one still sitting in a box brand new in my shop.
Out here in the Oregon dunes and summer off road riding, I don't care for or need a windshield and took mine off for many reasons including dust, fog or sand, etc.
A helmet with flip up face shield is perfect for us.

being that short and with the bend I would worry they air turbulence would be in my face
i have the taller version of that and did not see much of an advantage over no windbreak

Should cut the wind way better than not anything. It looks the same as a Clearly Tough short half windshield.
I have SATV hardcoat half windshields on both of my X3s. I have them cut down 1 3/4". They work great to keep the wind and dirt off my hands.
