Front Tow/Yank Point

Recently had to be pulled out of a whole and being towed backwards was not an option compared to being pulled forward about 2 feet. Problem is there is no place to connect to up front and I ended up having to use the actual winch to be snatched out which really bothered me. Anyone add something to the front as a tow point or know of a bolt on solution to this?

Why would it bother you to hook up to the winch cable/ hook? , wether your pulling on the winch or the winch is pulling on a tree its the sameforce pulling on the winch and mounts , unless your trying a jerk an pull

I don't really need an English lesson fellas. My vernacular is intact. It's called an autocorrect fail and I did not proof read it before posting.

As for what I was stuck in, I was bottomed out in a rut with all 4 wheels spinning. The winch would not budge me as the mud suctioned me down. I had to be snatched out by another sxs meaning I was yanked out using the winch as a connection point Because there was nothing else to connect to up there.

This is an XMR forum. If my XMR doesn't have a tow point on the front why would I look at a other XMRs to buy a front tow point? It already didn't come with one and the other XMR 1000r models I've looked at do not have one either.

My question still stands. Is anyone aware of a product that can be added to solve the lack of a front tow/hook point or will I have to fabricate something?

While you may have an autocorrect issue, you apparently didnt need post 5. He was very clear with an answer to this very question.

Mega was being funny, it's ok to laugh at yourself and or your autocorrect.

Personally I think it was one of his top 5 funniest posts.

Have a unicorny, rainbowey day!

No one really makes a add on tow point for the front look at the XRC bumper it has a pull point on it and there are a few others out there that also have a tow hook built in..... your options are replace the bumper or DIY something to pull from?
I don't think it's a good idea to yank on the front end with a ridged tow rope get a stretchy rope it's much easier on the chassis! A soft shackle can also come in handy when trying to find a place to pull from?

Tim and Mega.
There's a lot of people that don't get your sense of humor and it seems lately it has boiled over a few times just because you and others make fun of someone's spelling error then it turns into a BS fest with you and your buddy's here..... I guess so you can rack up post count? The OP asked a simple question who GAF about hole or whole everyone knows what he was trying to say!

Just a quick search found these two options, sorry in advance if My suggestions come across wrong. I have never had an issue with a front tow ring I always in front when I pull Mega back to the cars.

The first is for an X3 and of course won't fit mine. I contacted the seller of the second one and it will not fit an 18 1000r XMR either. so neither as an option. Appreciate the input though.

Never driven a Polaris so HA HA jokes on you! I was smart enough to wait for something better?

Look I'm not here to get into a bitch fest with anyone I'm just tired of having to sort though the pages of BS that don't have anything to add to a thread but comic relief for some and busted ego's for others sticks and stones are kiddy games if anyone has a problem with me or my post be a MAN and PM me we can hash it out privately! If your just trying to draw me out publicly it's not going to happen!
Now I'm done with this but I'm sure someone else will have to have the last word but that is what separates' the men from the boys. :disappointed:

Please stay on topic and keep your rants about members to Pm , That's what separates the real men from the boys. If you don't have anything to contribute then STFU!

I guess you didn't drive a Polaris because you were to busy driving a fake sand car with no Horsepower, no wonder you Don't know shiat about a SXS and have nothing to contribute.

Don't respond back as your post clearly states you're done!

You're number one !

Also, please ignore my signature, I don't want you to have a unicorny, rainbowey day, I hope you have a shiaty day!

Looks like it's time for me to fabricate something. I'm surprised there just isn't anything out there or that Can Am didn't incorporate a stout tow point on the front of a purpose built mud machine. I'm normally winching people out or never stuck hard enough to not be able to winch myself out. I was in awe when I looked for a place to attach my D ring and snatch rope and found nothing.

Appreciate the help. Even your's Tim. Lol.
