If you have changed tie rods or will replace them the factory warrenty and or the extended warrenty might be voided. Has anyone had this issue come up before and will the warrenty cause you to keep OEM tie rods and chance dealing with the problems they pose. Alot of guys here agree the tie rods are a weak part of the suspension but is the warrenty worth the sacrifice of peice of mind. I'm sitting on the fence myself but would love to lean over to having a quad i can count on.

warranty aint gonna cover the ripped out arm, trashed cv and broken brake line due to your tie rod bending because YOU hit something.

Warranty aint gonna cover a ruined trip also.

upgrade the tie rods, clutches, buy pivot point gussets, upgrade the cage, buy suspension seats, install 5 point harness............ and then MAYBE you will have nothing to worry about.

warranty don't mean nothing when your out in the trails or racing, or whatever!! I bent mine on my first real trail ride I tried to bend them back and limp back to the trailer but they snapped.....I had to go back to my shop to modify something to get me off the trails

Make your machine safe and reliable and save the warranty for things like engine , trans and diff failures.

gotta agree with the above. Changed mine out within the first 10 miles. I replaced mine with turnkey's black ones. If the dealer is looking for things to bust you on, I'd be looking for another dealer.

I could see them trying to void a warranty claim for a steering rack or something because the know the stock tie rod will fail before the steering rack.....but anything unrelated to the steering, they would have no grounds for trying to void your warranty. My dealer actually said I was smart for upgrading mine......

My dealer has ordered some from both Holz & CT for some of their customers, so I know they won't try to go down that road, I doubt Can Am would either, as they are a known problem.

I replaced the front tie rods on mine and haven't done the rears yet, no issues at all with my machine otherwise. It was a great Spring, Summer, Fall with the thing. It got used and abused and just asked for more.

I wouldn't worry about it, I agree with everything every said on this thread. Buy the Tie Rods from Alex at CT (Vendor on this forum). His are by far the best you can buy. I took off my UTV Inc ones and installed the ones from Alex and they rock. They really help correct the Bump Steer.

After no help from UTV Inc on the horrible bump steer with there tie rods, I ended up making my own spacers to correct the issue. 3/8 thk spacers correct the problem. FYI

I sell tie rods that correct the bump steer. 3/8" wouldn't work for us.
