I had some extra pieces of mild steel laying around and decided to make my own front shock tower brace and make it a double shear set up in the front. It cost me $37 to get it powder coated and about 2 hours of fab time...ran out of wire for my welder or I could have finished quicker I think. It doesn't rub any hoses or lines and it bolts right into the factory tapped holes. I know its not purchased and doesn't have any cool logos on it, but I like it and think it will do the job.

I like it, good job. Always nice when you get to make your own additions and save alot of money. How thick is that steel and size of the tubing you cut for the base support?
