I have been doing some research into evos tunes. I’m currently running their stage 3 tune for 91 octane on my 20 xrs rr. I wanna go to 3r but that requires 93 octane. I live in Washington state and out premium is 92. I have heard guys running theirs with 92 for a year or so with no problems.
I just wanna know what the experts on here think and what is recommended

thanks everyone

The experts would be evo since its their tune, email them and see what they have to say.

Not sure where you read / heard that? I've had the EVO 3R tune in my '19 X3 since I bought it. All you can get in Arizona is 91.

I read that on the can am x3 group pages on Facebook. Also read on evos site that 2020 turbo rr have to run 93 for 3r
I wouldn't believe anything on FB! But the '20s could be different, IDK. Call the source, call EVO to confirm if it's true. Good luck.

Welcome from NW Oregon!
Typically if you're off a point or two you just won't hit maximum hp, much more than that you will not have a high enough octane for the timing therefore causing knock.
I use VP Unleaded Octanium booster
