I tried out the Eibach Pro Utv Anti-Roll bar kit for my XRS in Glamis last weekend. I have always been a fan of the X3 and the minimal body roll it has. So more is better, right? Well let me tell you a story about my Eibach swaybar experiance.

It starts off by Eibach shipping me their front and rear swaybars that are 20% stiffer than the OEM bars. They arrived packaged well in a big bright red box. Now to those that hide parts from their wives this is something you just might want to ship it to your work or neighbors house.

Once i opened it up i immediately weighed them and found them to be within 1lb of the OEM bars weights. They come with new bushings and some tacky grease. There are no grease zeros but thats ok since the tacky grease will last a long time and removing them to re grease once a season is very easy. I also noticed the heavy welded on stop to keep the bars in place unlike the OEM bars. Nothing worse than a 20k machine clunking as you drive down a trail.

Now lets get to the fun part, Drive time! I arrived in Glamis and ran out to try the swaybars out.

Immediately i noticed the almost ZERO body roll. Now this is great for my agressive driving style where i like to slide the car around rather than Driving Miss Daisy around Glamis. We ran through the small stuff and headed to the big bowls while i was getting used to the car. It had a different feel, i could just twitch the steering wheel and the car rotated easily. Now as my confidence grew i was able to toss it in corners at 50mph without fear of catching an edge and two bicycling the car. Dune bowls felt let i was in NASCAR banking a turn and heading for the next transition where i actually had to turn right unlike those left turn sisters. I hit a transition and the car was very solid feeling and the front wheel DID NOT drop into the next bowl. At this time i puckered a little not knowing how the car would react. Well i hit that transition and flew into the next blow and landed 1,2,3,4 wheels BOOM. **** YEAH!! That was fun.

With much more confidence in the turns and high flying fun in the transitions, this guy had a huge smile on my face. The swaybars fit my style and im as happy a new puppy finding his pecker for the first time. Now if you are a mild duner and like the easier slower transitions you might want to just stay with the stiffer rear and OEM front. But if you are a dune ripper and like to push your X3 to its limits just short of rolling your car, like my bestie from down south by the Mexico border did. I highly suggest the Eibach Pro Utv Anti-roll bar kit.

Sand shark responded to a question about his wheel hanging up in the air during a transition with something like "no, it didn't hang up and may have dropped even firmer" not exact words I didn't find his thread to look. You're saying pretty much the opposite. You guys just have different opinions on that or what?

You drive like I drive. I am always pushing the limits and I like the Eibach sway bars because the X3 is much more stable and less likely to roll with these bars on during aggressive driving. I have a big pile of these sway bars in stock ready to ship. I also have the new Pro UTV Parts sway bar links that will hold up to the Eibach sway front sway bar.
