I want to take a quick little poll. What is easier for everyone one to get their hands on E85 or 110 race gas? If we can get some good feedback on this I would like to share it with a performance company I work with. I the surface they are close in octane at 110 for race gas and 108 for E85.

I would say even in AZ where our e85 varies big time to content its still easier and cheaper to get good e85. IF I ever jump into better than the crappy AZ 91 I can get I would go with e85 not race gas.

e85 is only 100 octane
but in a boosted motor it dose act like it is much higher...in the 110 range
in a boosted motor e85 burns about 1/3 more than any gas
in the mid west e85 is in about every major city
there are two ethanol plants within 100 miles of me
and almost 1/2 the cost of pump prem gas
