I keep seeing all this jargon about dyno #'s and percentage of loss through drive-train so I thought I would post up our findings...
Every Maverick I have dyno'd(more than 1) has been in the 70's at the wheels. I have never seen a CVT vehicle lose 50% of its power through the drive-train. This includes:
Polaris UTV's
Kawasaki UTV's
Yamaha UTV's
Can-am UTV's
Honda Pilot's(yes I owned one)
Chinese knock of UTV's
I have attached a dyno chart of a Maverick in sport mode vs. normal mode...
I have also attached a dyno chart of 3 diffferent mavericks in various states of tune. All were in the 70's.
I can not believe that a manufacturer would build a 100 hp vehicle to lose 50 of it through the drive-train... just makes no sense. Not trying to start an arguement, just think some of the information you are getting is not accurate.
