Oops. Look up CanAm Maverick r life on Facebook then search for door opener kit. A couple guys figured out a diy setup that looks pretty easy and cost effective.

TMW sells shock assist as an option for their doors for $200. I have the doors but did not want the shock assist.

I installed these struts, they will not open the door until it's opened about 6 inches. It's still really nice.

 

What struts did you use. And how did you fasten to the bottom of the door? Do the doors open all the way still

 

I used 12” 10 pound struts though 15 pounders may also work. I used 16 gauge aluminum to strengthen the plastic. Below are the mounts. The mount on the door has to be really close to the weatherstripping.
