Can you shift the bag forward a bit and put that front/upper velcro over the flange?

I buy through Amazon for the easy return 1/3 the time usually because of poor fit.

See if there is a grommet on the back of the bag. I bought the kenimoto bags and where that gusset is you take out a torx bolt holding the frame to the door and put that thru the grommet on the bag.
