the performance engine builder at my work used to know the harley guys at the proving grounds in AZ and they said 2 into 1 is one of the best ways to build a exhaust on a twin motor. but I think it has to do with alot of personal pref. i personally think 2into1 sounds the best. I am contemplaining doing a 2into1 3/4 custom system on my Mave with a Magnaflow muffler. like the one Weller racing uses on there SR1's.

I saw a prototype from motowork and it was a 2 into 1 exaust. But i like 2 into 1 to 2 better it seems to make more power but it weight more also.
