The debate on the stock clutches is endless. Some have good luck with them stock. Others have put clutch kits in them and have been happy. Then there are those of us who have put in aftermarket clutches and haven't looked back. Yes, it is a big purchase but i have no regrets and am pleased with the performance gains.....read up on the subject and make your own call. If you decide to pull the trigger, be prepared because you will get 10 people tell you 10 different things. I have the QSC/STM setup that I purchased from Cold Blooded Performance. Kris is a great guy to work with and he can get you all set up and has excellent customer service preand post sale....It does it in both high and low, yes tight technical trails but also loading on to trailer with a tilt gate, dealer says he sees no issue with clutch whatsoever. Is this the norm for these bikes or should I just trash the factory clutch.
^ x2sounds to me like a belt issue. Try a new belt, break it in correctly and see if you still have an issue. New belt is much cheaper than a new clutch.
