picked up a cheap ebay led bar 30" - just to see what it was all about

$115 shipped from ebay , arrived next day

b4 and after pic's

installed on my jeep front bumper

180watt 30'' flood spot combo beam -

the lens seems thinner then totron but for the $ pretty darn good !

I agree...I think if you angle it up more you will see how well it really works. Looks good so far but probably even better once you angle it up.

were it works good is it actually shines far to the sides and up high, as u can see the bushes in the led pic and u cant with headlights , on the sides,

easiest way to search for them on ebay is (180 watt 240 watt 120 watt) depending on size , led off road light bar

My buddy has a epistar 30inch and it's been great for the last year can't really tell the diff from the Cree once your in the woods

ya when I got out in the desert with the tree's the light really makes a huge difference out there,

I think ur 42'' is epistar also not cree , ive notice a lot say cree then in the section about the leds , it just says high intensity led's

OK, here's the update. She looked at it...it is in fact CREE. It is also very well build, the enclosure sturdy. She said for $200 it's a killer deal, the heat sink was probably worth $150. She did not open it up and look at the electronics behind the LED's and suggested for the price why bother. So it does look like it's a pretty damn good deal.

how can she tell the diff from cree and non cree by the front ? flat square led is cree round is epistar ?
