Axle seals can be replaced in the car without removing the diff. Just remove the axle. Drive line seal will require removing the drive line and probably need to remove the diff to do it.

I have a maverick 1000r turbo xrs 2016 I have a leak in the oring of the front diff.
How is the procedure to change it??
I need to desinstall it completely?
Some advice?
there’s no oring . Are you referring to the shaft seal ?

loosen the diff bolts , take out the driveshaft bolt that holds the drive shaft to the yoke and pull them apart. You’ll need a seal puller tool to get the seal out . Press the new one in . You MUST replace the wear ring on the driveshaft if you replace the seal !!! Wiggle the driveshaft out of the sxs. Cut off wear ring with a dremel cut off wheel . Put the driveshaft in a freezer overnight . Heat the new wear ring with a torch until it’s red hot , pull the driveshaft out of the freezer and quickly pick the wear ring up with pliers and seat it all the way down on the driveshaft as a hard and fast as you can . Grease new seal and the wear ring before reinstalling so they slide together .
