Is it normal to get the certificate of origin for a machine when you have a loan on it? I thought that would go to the lender and I would get some other form for registration.

Most states do not title a recreational vehicle anymore. So while you in theory have a note on your Mav, the reality is it is an unsecured loan.

No lenders name. I just wasn't expecting to get it. They must consider the loan unsecured.

Just took me by surprise that's all.

In Michigan, my Maverick was titled and shows my lender as a secured lien holder. The title was mailed to me. I also got a copy of the certificate of origin. My dealer actually faxed the certificate before I actually bought it because I needed the VIN info for insurance purposes.
