So I got a new battery this past month and it has been firing right up. Today it struggled and would just click and then after trying again and again I got it to crank but after I put it up I wanted to see if the problem was still there and now it just clicks and can’t get it to start at all, I tightened the negative and positive on the battery and still just clicks, could there be something draining the battery? Or the start solenoid? I don’t think it could be the starter because it’s been firing right up great and I feel if it would I would’ve seen it failing long ago.

I just finished tearing my machine apart for no start clicking. The brake pressure switch is shit on CanAms and the gearbox Park sensor only works 50% of the time. Moral of the story, if it only clicks, try stomping the brake pedal once or twice and holding it while starting. It won’t energize the starter when it thinks it’s in gear without the brakes on. (and that might be flaky too)
