question. I purchased my first can am a week or two ago and doing my first 200 mile oil change. drained, oil filter changed.......where in the heck do I put the oil back in? Its a 2025 maverick x3 x turbo rr. I cant find anything in the manual. Maybe in relation to the dipstick, i know where that's at. thx

X3's are super easy to work on. Anybody who says otherwise has never worked on something difficult. I read dozens of posts online like yours where people complained about changing the oil before I did mine, I was amazed at how wrong they all were. A cheap silicone funnel is really the only "specific" tool you need.

After the oil change and after taking the 1st drive where I could let loose and open her up,I'm hooked. put it to the floor and launch. i think id like to race, not to get the best time, but to go as fast as i want without responsible me always more concerned about someone coming the other direction.:)

Yes, it's a challenge the first time. You have two good options moving forward: either pump the oil out of the dipstick port or get a Curtis Valve. Either option provides a fast and easy oil change. I use an old-fashioned metal funnel that gives me about 24" of length to get the 3.7 quarts back in.

Curtis Valve: (replaces your Oil drain plug, watch a YT video on how to do it)

After I figured up how derpy I was being, I added the Curtis valve in the right spot, in front of your tire, not the rear diff, and it makes total sense.
After I did everything including the "drain mode" I was able to get 3.7qts. Take it from me and I did everything wrong, but once I figured it out, I can see how the Youtube videos only take the oil change 10 mins instead of two evenings. I haven't done my next oil change yet, but I put the hose on and it should be a no muss no fuss deal.
There are folks on here that have it down, but the 24" flex funnel is a must, I bought a 18" but got things done.
Curtis an aircraft company and the valve is high quality and I do have faith in it.

Listen to the others and take advantage of their years of knowledge.

Just my 2 cents
