I was about ready to order a Warn ProVantage 4500 lb winch for around $550 when I found a smoking deal at Cabelas.com.

This unit is made by Warn in the USA (huge requirement for me) and seems to have the same specs as the Warn-only labeled Vantage 4000. However, this Cabela's branded unit is rated at 4200 lbs. Not sure why.

Anywho, for HALF the cost of the 1st choice I had, I ordered one of these up and will give it a shot. If all goes well I will never need to use it so this could be an even better deal!

Yea they have good prices on winches. I ended up buying the warn rt40 off of cabelas. It's the same winch that bro offers in their winch kit. I bought the brp winch mount off of eBay and the commander rocker switch off cheapcycleparts.com. By the time I was done, I was in for half the price that brp offers their winch kit.
