Welcome from Tucson AZ. Is it absolutely necessary to have a windshield? Besides the obvious problem you have, there's also the heat in cab issues that always come up running a windshield. Try helmets / goggles or face shields, see if you like it.

Thanks for all the replies... Yes the windshield is curved, so taking it to a shop is out, unless is a good shop that could do custom shaped glass...

I'd also agree that the heat in the cab with the windshield is an issue, but we do a lot of street riding to/from trails and even into town to shop/eat so feel the windshield was a necessity.

I may purchase a set of helmets / googles as well.
Just asking, but why is it a necessity? I do a fair amount on on road driving, I use either sunglasses, or occasionally goggles if it's really windy.
