Trying to break loose the jam nut ending up breaking the pin that connects the actuating arm to the wastegate. Any ideas on how to fix this? Only thing i can think of is welding it together

I would replace it. The pin is likely an alloy and won't weld very well. You might get away with it BUT I hate the thought of being stranded 50 miles from my camp or truck.
That arm doesn’t look to come off separately, gonna have to pull off the whole turbo, any random shop should be able to tig weld the arm back together. Probably a 5 minute job once it gets in front of a guy with a welder….
you will need to have it welded or find a replacment manifold
there are no new replacement parts available only used
brp only sells complete turbo/manifolds almost $3000
that part is welded in place at the factory
used parts are available you just got to find them
IMO take it to a local welder..if he cant fix it he may know who can
Only two things that can’t be welded the crack of dawn and a broken heart. That’s weldable or silver soldered. Use handy flux for silver.
Well that's a first, never seen nor understand why that would happen.

You will have to pull the turbo however it can be welded to be stronger than stock....Just make sure it doesn't mess up the area where the clip goes.
Never saw that happen before.

you may underestimate my stupidity

I would probably try a salvage or junk yard if you can't get it welded.
now may be the time to upgrade to a aftermarket turbo....
Feebay has used RR turbo for $1300
also found a used manifold for $300
even a dynojet new big wheel kit for $1800
Josh what did you finally do ?
ended up throwing a bolt and nut on it. Rode it out in glamis and everything was just fine.

Well there you go, glad it worked!

thats what happens when you dont use a back up wrench on the arm. Puts torque on the welded pin.

Well on my 2022 the damn nut has red loctite on it. I did the same thing. Silver solder the pin back on the arm.

Welcome from Tucson AZ. Heat / torch is needed to loosen red loctite.

I’m aware. My big mistake for sure. Just looked like paint (torque strike) not loctite. Also all the videos online just show you taking a 10mm wrench and loosening it.
the only problem I see using silver solder is the extreme heat from the exhaust could melt it
I recommend welding it
if it fails you will loose all boost
