Just wanted to share a purchase I just made...as I said I am going hog wild on my Mav this year. Anyway, I bought doors, the blingstar's and got a smoking deal on them. They will ship today for me, happy as hell. Anyway, anyone looking for doors here's their info.

BTW, don't own this place either...again...looking out for the community. They may be a vendor, I didn't check. They did not ask me to do this...I got a killer price and am very happy....so I came to share with my Maverick comrades.

I put Blingstar doors on my Mav last year and on the passenger side, you probably will have to trim a away some of the plastic on the glove box in order to make the striker installation on the that side work. You need to remove glove box for installation but after the hardware install it didn't go back in until I modified.

I could care less if a person is pushing product or not. That is for a moderator to handle. If someone posts a deal that saves other members money. Kudos to the one that posted it. I remember all the crap wickedcummins got. I didn't care. At the time, he had the best price for a great product. Kudos to him for some competition to lower prices. Part of the reason I come to this forum is to read about products and finding a deal.

My bottom line is this....and I'll not apologize for it. I make a damn good living, I work hard...I play hard. I still try to save money where ever I can...because these things are not cheap habits. Some of you guys have 30 grand in your rigs I bet, and god bless you for it. Could I afford to do it? Yes, absolutely. I choose not to because I'll never race, it's fast enough to kill my dumb ass as it is, and does everything I ask of it. But when I want to upgrade something? Yes of course I try to support the vendors here because they care to try and support our community, and I have spent a lot with people on here. However, it does not mean they have the best price available. If it's within 20-40 bucks? Who cares...I'll spend that extra to return the favor they extend to us. But when you are talking a significant price break? I'm sorry (not really) but I am going to save the money, period.

For the record I contacted many vendors on the forum with the price these guys were at....I told them what I had. One offered to match it, but didn't have stock for 2 weeks. I chose not to wait because I have some things going on...(which I will post pics etc to) and I needed to get the doors sooner. Now if I am making something and trying to sell it here? Yep, you got me...different deal..and wrong. But if I am trying to save other members money by passing along something they may need too? Sprinks you can flush your head down the toilet and go F yourself. We need to look out for each other...we are after all the consumer...and we drive the market. Competition is good and can drive the pricing down, we all win. The price I paid for the doors? Still too damn much for what they are, but a heck of a lot less hard to swallow than some prices I've seen...including on these forums.

I'll not apologize for trying to help others save money.

Hey tough guy, my last post regarding you. I'm gonna be the better person here. I have no problem with anybody saving money for a product. Don't sit there behind your keyboard and lie about trying to sell a product or negotiate a group buy for something and say yea, it will be less than those.( No vendor status I believe at this time right or wrong) Look back at some of your post. Here's a thought, Change positions with a vendor and they come in and cut your throat. I think you would be pissed. Maybe I have interest vested into a vendor or two on here and spoke what I felt at the time. I believe you said back to me, baseless and immature, Think my point is valid... You mentioned Alba and CT not me. I never said you were ripping them. I'm sure these two companies have to buy material, employ people to make products. Nothing is cheap anymore. If I have to buy something for my mav and their not a vendor on here I will. I will not come on here posting where I did or post links of what I bought, but that's me. This week here I've seen you post a lot of thing for sale from non-vendors but what the hell, that's the person you are. As you say, the last time I checked that was the American way.

it is silly to me why anyone would think that really means anything.....I make 4X what my wife does but do I tell her I am better than her because she makes less....no for multiple reasons, but mostly because she is in the field of education with multiple masters degrees and is 10X smarter than I am. But she is doing what she loves and is not doing it for the money. It is usually a vain attempt to try and belittle someone but has no merit or justification to it......I make a lot more than any policeman or firefighter or military person but would never say that makes me any more of a person then them....I am thankful for their service and eternally grateful for them putting their lives on the line to make this a safer place for me to live.
