I have read through this whole post and want to be sure I understand correctly. So I apologize for my ignorance as this is my first SXS and have always rode ATVs, but a new child changes your style.

I have a 2018 X3 Max Turbo 64 120hp". I assume it is a base since the shocks do not piggyback onto the cage and it has 28" Bighorn 2.0s.

Now just so I am clear to get a 32" tire on it would require a 5+2 wheel and it would not clear on the factory wheels?

I would like to go bigger tire, but do not want to be breaking things all the time. Primary reason for larger tire is here in Arkansas the forest service roads have water bars in them to prevent erosion and after a test this weekend it is clear I do not have clearance without rubbing the belly.

I appreciate the help as I get acclimated to this new world of SXS.

 

I'm running 32" pro armor xg's on the stock wheels. I had an option on the rear wheels to either run a 1" spacer or pick up another set of front rims and run those on the rear. I have a 2017 XDS

 

Think it all depends which 32 inch tire if you need a offset. My rears measure 31 and are about a inch from rubbing the trailing arm. But mine are 30s that run big lol.

Could always set your ride height. Going to assume your on stock shock settings.

 

I am planning to run the Maxxis Liberty 32" tires which it looks like according to Maxxis measure out around 32.4" or so. My concern it looks like is the rubbing of the rear trailer arms from my reading, but that could be my misunderstanding. I was just reading about adjusting the ride height here on the forum. Thanks for your feedback.

Just put 32" Tusk Terrabites on my XDS with ITP Tornado wheels 5x2 offset and love them. Haven't had any issues with rubbing.

Ended up going with the new UTV BFG KM3's 30x10x15 on DWT Sector Zero's, anyone with a 64" model (2018 X3 MAX Turbo R) check this out. I'll repost some pics once everything is mounted and the ride level has been set. If your in AZ Ride Now Surprise is doing "Free" X3 suspension adjustments on the 29TH of Sept.

Here is my 2018 xds with 32” STI XCOMP ATR with 15” KMC XD machete wheels

In Minnesota and Wisconsin we have a 65” max width law, im right at 65” with these. No rubbing.

Hey silverram - I'm close to pulling the trigger on those tires and a 15inch wheel as well. Have you noticed anything major because of how heavy the tires are compared to stock bighorns?

All the guys with a 64" Model use a 5+2 offset you'll be good and miss everything, ride height is set, DWT Sectors on BFG KM3's (30x10x15R). Still have quite a bit to do, working on the flux capacitor this weekend

 

Silverram what offset are on your rims and did you change anything on your clutch?

 

This is from the tire and wheel guy I bought mine from.

I also added a evo stage 1 tune and a kwi x36 clutch kit.

I just bought a 2017 XDS, and came with STI wheels with 30x9.5-14. Part # shows to be a 14x9 wheel so I'm guessing 5" backspacing with 4" to the outside?

Question is what offset will make this buggy track the same F/R?

To get your images rotated, just load them in Paint and save (rotate before saving if needed). It should do the trick for this forum.

awddsm97 great looking rig! What is track width front and rear now?

 

I have about 200 miles on the stock bighorns and there getting torn up on the local trails around the house time for a upgrade!

So many choices I'm going 32's want to keep the stock wheels no need to keep the bighorns mounted up so 14" limits the choices a bit being in socal I'm mostly in the desert with lots of rocky trails around the house with some high speed fire roads with loose rock...... I'm leaning towards the liberty's with a flatter profile in big ruts the bighorns tend to wander a lot I want to get rid of that! I also want to keep the weight down so it's easier on rotating parts the only tire I see lighter is the tensor's I don't want to spend 250 bucks a tire!

Any deals out there on the liberty's seems 175 is the going price on the 32's ??????

I love my 32/10R15 Maxxis Liberty tires. They are hard to find but worth the effort. They seem to wear slowly and do great in the desert.
