Big Gun Exhaust is proud to introduce our new exhaust for the 2013 Can-Am Maverick 1000. We are offering either a dual slip on system or a ¾ dual system in our EVO U series. The ¾ system utilizes the front section of the stock head pipes, but eliminates the bulky and heavy catalytic converter and resonator chamber.

Both systems are available for order now. Please call Big Gun Exhaust for more info. (714) 970-0423

Dual Slip on - $ 639.99

¾ Dual System - $ 799.99

Out of all of them so far, I like this one the best. I just want a good looking system and to delete the cat and resonators. Of course I need to hear it also.

The 2 brothers is pretty nice too. I would also check out the Yosh on the Murray racing rig (I am not allowed to look at that car anymore my wife calls it "Maverick porn"®) You can delete the cat with a piece of pipe any muffler shop can do it for you. It seems like you are paying 160 dollars for a 12" piece of pipe on the 3/4 system?

X42 on the sound clip.

I'm kinda liking the Barkers the best so far also. They look and sound great. Just found out that they are out of Bad Axe Michigan. About 1/2 hr drive from me. Hummmm... Wonder if they will need a Maverick Max to test fit their exhaust to.

I have the big gun 3/4 kit and let me start off by saying kit didnt come with enough flange bolts and lock nuts. No biggie went to ace hardware and got them for under $5. Kit is easy to install but stock unit takes a bit of time to remove. It does sound really good from idle to 3/4 throttle but wide open is too loud for me with kids. Couln't tell if there is any performance increase only had 30 miles of trail riding when i installed kit. Rode 60 miles with exhaust last weekend. Thinking of selling and putting stock back on.

I'm waiting for the Barkers 3/4 system. There's a couple vid's on youtube and it sounds amazing.
Just saw a post today that the Barker system ha sbeen released for sale.Must admit it looks sweet but I'm sticking with my Muzzy and the increased throttle response.

I'm going to hold off and buy a QSC primary next. My maverick has been at the dealer twice now because of the stock clutch.
The clutches were my first upgrade I purchased. But I love my Muzzy.

Close friend of mine did all the dyno work for this exhaust and i have seen the dyno reports it adds the 11hp like stated on there site i would recommend doing the programmer at the same time. Only thing that sucks with the maverick is that it runs a closed loop system to 6000 rpms so only above that is programable. If you try to make changes below that the computer reverts it back automatically. Getting back to exhaust. The barkers are a real nice set up. They are louder than stock thats for sure but the do add performance.
