Anyone try one of these bags from Kemimoto yet on a MT? They do not list compatibility for the Trail but an answered question indicated one person said it would work but offered up no details.
Does the TRAIL have a center panel that this could "clip to"

Thanks

what are you planning on storing in it? i know some people have purchased cheap back packs and installed them there.

I got a smallish child's narrow backpack that has multi compartments with a little handle and some water bottle sacks on each side. I ziptied a carabiner on the rops cross bar and the handle slips into it. It is bigger loaded than between the seats so it does not bounce around and the water bags hold some cleaning rags. I figure that if there is any reason to have to walk out, a side trail to take (with sandwich and water bottles) or remove tablet & slip it in and go to a long lunch, I can quickly unclip from biner and load it and go. Presently storing my rain gear and goggles in it.

Thanks, that's a good option too.

Another welcome, from the Arizona mountains!

My buddy and I both have this similar Can-Am branded bag:
Can-Am Shoulder Storage Bag from RMATV

That bag is handy plus blocks a bit of noise transmitted through the engine bulkhead, however utilizes small zipper teeth which quickly become very balky with dust accumulation. I've tried zipper lube which helps but only briefly. My zipper is stuck open right now with the risk of damage if forced. Kemimoto's bag appears to be similar to Can-Am's but at a lower price. Depending on how rugged and reliable the zipper mechanism is, it might be a better choice - or not...
