Hi All, haven't been on the site in a long time, my machine has been behaving so no need to this point. Iv'e got a 2016 XMR ,completely stock including the 30" silverbacks. It logged about 2200 Km's-1300 miles on the factory belt, but i smoked it last year and replaced it with a gates carbon. Its smoked 2 x already on me in about 120 miles, WTF?? thought they were supposed to be decent belts.... junk i'm thinking. so Iv'e gotta put something else in it...what say the masses on a good belt? is anything better than the 212 can am belt?, i'm hearing Can Am is selling an extreme duty belt now? or is that just for turbo X3's?

if that model still uses the old non turbo version of the edrive
you will never get a bet to last, they only drive off one side of the clutch
the turbo model clutch is similar/same as the x3 clutch

Ya I dunno what derive is but it definitely doesn’t have the turbo clutch in it. but 2000 km out of the OEM belt I consider “ lasting” was just curious if there’s other options that don’t cost 200$, that are good belts.
